Kian gets his tonsils out: January 12, 2012

So Kian's tonsils have always been large, but he got sick in December and they grew even bigger. So we decided to get them out so he can breathe easier and stop snoring.



Kian was such a brave kid at the surgery. He didn't cry or complain and the nurse said that when he woke up right after the surgery and they removed the tube from his mouth, the first thing he said was: "thanks for taking such good care of me"



The doctor said he had the biggest tonsils of 2012 (and he does about 30 of these a day) so we felt pretty good about that.



The only upside of this procedure to Kian is that he gets to drink slushees, soda and Gatorade as much as he wants for the next two weeks.
